When we started in 1998, we thought we'd just be creating weddings. Then it turned out that we would be handling more than just that task... we would be weaving a life story. It didn't take us that long to realize that the weddings we would be doing would all be unique, beautiful and close to our hearts. Every wedding was different. Nothing the same.
The weddings of ONE FINE DAY reflect the couple's characters, dreams and wishes. We take pride in every wedding that we do. The years of experience have taught us a lot. Theories and all things written were merely a handy guide. The experience outweighed the larger scale of perfecting wedding.
But you see, we never promise our clients a perfect wedding, as we believe there is nothing like that in real life. We honestly tell our clients that much as we would love to achieve perfection, we cannot prevent a heavy downpour. But we always have backup plans for that. We do our assignments and try to predict the worst case scenarios. We try to address problems long before they land on earth. There are things beyond our control. But our team would move heaven and earth to make sure our couples never feel the punch. We try to cushion the blows for them. And you can just imagine how hard the beating is. Our weddings are all knock-outs!
Seriously now, weddings are not beautiful we made them. We come across a room full of flowers and we know in an instant the colors are mismatched, the theme forgotten. The couple's image of a romantic wedding gone in oblivion. It was out of character. We avoid the pitfalls to a crazy wedding by treating each wedding as our own. We would not do something we knew would ruin our wedding day.
We, at ONE FINE DAY, believe beautiful weddings are products of imaginative minds, collaborative efforts of the bride, groom and a dedicated and professional team leader at the helm ... your wedding coordinator. If a wedding coordinator knows exactly what you have in mind, she creates a blueprint of your wedding in her mind, and lives each day running that blueprint, making sure every detail is executed as planned on the day of your wedding. And of course, she prays hard. There is ONE hand who can make all things happen. And that is our guiding principle at ONE FINE DAY ... ora et labora (work and prayer).
